The enterprise deploys web and mobile technologies that help small businesses start, run and grow their businesses. The company’s flagship product is a simple financial record-keeping application that enables small business owners easily keep and manage their financial data for quick data-driven decision-making and also to access a curation of financial services that suit their size and needs.
We are looking for an accountant who is self-motivated and has a strong desire to build a career in accounting. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles and proficiency in using an accounting software and Microsoft Office Tools. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.
Responsibilities will include the following:
1. Maintain accurate bookkeeping and general ledger management.
2. Prepare and file statutory taxes in compliance with GRA regulations.
3.Generate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
4. Assist in budgeting and forecasting for business planning.
5. Manage financial operations using Built Accounting.
6. Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes.
Education & Experience:
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Entry-level candidates with 1–3 years of experience are welcome.
Skills:
1. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Built Accounting).
2. Excel skills, including financial analysis.
